It was a major success for India’s renewable energy industry as Lord’s Mark Industries Limited won a 300 MW solar contract under Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) program. The company was announced at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025 held at Davos, Switzerland, as one of the key players of the global clean energy revolution.
The project, bid at a competitive price of Rs 4.80 per unit, is under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana under which solar panels are to be installed on the rooftops of government buildings. This achievement is a testament to Lord’s Mark Industries’ role in spearheading India’s agenda for green energy and creating new standards in the renewable sector.
Sachidanand Upadhyay, Lord’s Mark Industries Managing Director, outlined the company vision to spearhead India’s green drive towards a sustainable future and international debate on sustainability. “Participating at the World Economic Forum is our effort to acknowledge the pioneering initiative by Indian industry players in the field of renewable energy and sustainable development,” he stated.
As Lord’s Mark Industries sets the stage for its pre-IPO period, this agreement also consolidates its leadership in clean energy innovation and MedTech development as a growth trajectory. With its fierce indigenous solar module manufacturing concentration and quality standards, the firm continues developing new benchmarks in renewable energy solutions.
India was represented at the World Economic Forum by Sachidanand Upadhyay, who brought out the company’s advancements in clean energy and healthcare technology. The international recognition reinforces the role of Lord’s Mark Industries as a leader in India’s clean energy revolution and market force to be reckoned with prior to going public.
